Lip Filler

Lip Filler

You might want to try lip fillers, which add or restore fullness to your lips. Because: your lips have lost definition over the years; you're tired of using makeup to enhance your pout and want something which lasts long enough; you desire that a more defined smile and shapelier lips would suit your face better.

Getting lip fillers - which is also known as 'lip enhancement' or 'lip augmentation' - is usually painless, and you can see the results immediately. The treatment takes about 30 mins, and, though you may experience some slight swelling or bruising, there's no recovery time attached. You can choose the exact look you want, whether that's a subtle change or a big difference! Our fillers aren't permanent, so you won't be stuck with your new lips forever if you feel they're not for you. Love the results? Don't forget to top up as you'll need it every three to six months to maintain volume and definition. In terms of popularity, lip enhancement is our fastest-growing non-surgical treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the lip filler solution made of? Open or Close

All of our lip filler solution is made from hyaluronic acid, a sugar that's found naturally in our bodies. It's manufactured by Juvederm® and is fully FDA approved.

  • Is lip augmentation safe? Open or Close

Lip augmentation is totally safe when carried out by a fully qualified medical practitioner (as all treatments are here at Transform).

Because hyaluronic acid is something that we naturally produce, the body accepts it then slowly breaks it down over a period of months.

  • Will my lips look notably different? Open or Close

That's really up to you! Some of our clients are just looking to make a subtle change, while others want much fuller lips. We'll talk to you about the look you want to achieve and let you know our recommendations.

  • Who will perform the procedure? Open or Close

At Transform, all lip enhancement treatments are carried out by either a doctor or fully qualified nurse.

  • How long does the treatment take? Open or Close

You'll be at our clinic for around an hour, with the consultation and procedure itself taking around 30 minutes in total.

You'll meet with your practitioner to discuss your treatment, then they'll get you to apply the topical numbing cream - which takes around half an hour to take effect - before proceeding.

  • Does lip enhancement hurt? Open or Close

Most of our clients say they find the treatment a touch uncomfortable but not painful. We'll offer you a topical numbing cream to help reduce any discomfort, and the Juvederm® range of lip fillers that we use incorporate an anaesthetic called lidocaine the numbs the area further.

  • How long do lip fillers last? Open or Close

Your lip fillers will last for up to six months, depending on how much is injected and your lifestyle.

  • Are there any side effects? Open or Close

You might experience some slight swelling or bruising, but this usually clears up within 48 hours.

There's no recovery time needed after receiving lip augmentation treatment - you can leave the clinic as soon as you are ready to do so, and return to day-to- day activities straight away.
